BillVargas 0 Report post Posted December 9, 2003 I took a one day seminar on mortgage notes and structured settlements, which was given by a man who created his own certiying organization. He taught us how to get 3 comparables from companies that buy notes and that is the basis of the appraisal. The fee is $300.00 or 3/4 of 1% of the note which ever is higher for the appraisal.
