puls1234 0 Report post Posted December 9, 2003 When you are doing a cooperative assignment with a homeowner and a tenant buyer asks you if this is your house what has everyone found to be the best response? I have said that no, its a colleague of mine's house and they have asked me to find a tenant buyer for their property because that is our specialty and expertise. How does that sound? Does someone else have a better answer?
MichaelC 160 Report post Posted December 10, 2003 Pete, I give a similar answer when a tenant/buyer asks me if I'm the owner. I tell them I have a property management company, and that the homeowner asked me to help them to do something with the property. Anything along those lines has always worked fine, and we move on to other issues.
puls1234 0 Report post Posted December 10, 2003 Michael, So unless the t/b asks you whether you are the homeowner you don't volunteer that info correct? Pete
MichaelC 160 Report post Posted December 11, 2003 Correct, Pete. There is no need to do so.
