If it's valid it's valid whether it's called an "agreement" or "contract," although you might want to use one word or another depending on the context. For example. a buyer may want a lawyer to look over a "contract" but feel confortable signing an "agreement." As you know, many time legal review by the buyer's lawyer may be a deal killer even though everthing is legal and in order... Why? Many many reasons... Mike P.
