"possible rent to own"

Hello,

I was going through the ads for homes for rent, and came across one that says, "2 bdrm, possible rent to own, $650/month." How should I approach this possible seller? Would this be a possible deal, maybe one that is more cooperative?

Yes, it's possible this could be a motivated seller. Of course, the only way to know for sure is to call and find out.

It's also a possibility this is an experienced landlord and investor. If so, you probably won't get anywhere with him/her. I have found over the years that when speaking with other investors, nothing much is accomplished. Let's face it.........we don't go into this business to help other investors make money. It may happen that way on occasion, but that is not our usual intent.

Bottom line, Samantha, is to call and get the scoop, then proceed from there.
