Explanation and Apology

Recommended Posts

MC,

Glad to see the pain hasn't dulled your sense of humor, hell I fell off the roof of one my rehabs a little over a week ago sprained both my ankles and shredded my right leg getting tangled in the ladder on the way down, lucky I didn't kill myself, and by now with all my whining my wife is trying to talk me into trying again. Second times a charm.

Glad to see you're back and thanks for the forms and docs.

Yeah, even your ol' buddy Superman has his mishaps.

The other day I fell off a 25-foot ladder. :)

Timing my man...timing. :)

...can't have punch-lines in plain view.

Gotta make 'em wait and sweat it out. <_<

Glad you're back by the way.

I saw that we had a new member.

While you were out, I went ahead and welcomed her.

Since I'm 2nd in command around here, I knew you wouldn't mind, sarge.

Yes, I saw your generosity in welcoming member Michelle. Quite selfless of you, Jason.

By the way, there's a movie I want you to rent. It's called The Crying Game.

Actually, my ol' lady is on her way over to my pad.

She's gonna bring a movie over and whatever else I want.

...my car has a flat today and the cape's in the cleaners. <_<

Would ya mind tellin me the short version?

If it sounds to my liking, I'll have her rent it and bring it over.

I don't want to spoil it for you, my SuperHero friend. Suffice it to say you will be surprised <_< .

If you don't like it, let me know and I'll pick up the tab on your next cape cleaning.

Ok.

Did a google search to see what's up with this movie, here:

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0104036/

It seemed pretty interesting...

UNTIL

I read a comment on what the movie was about:

""The Crying Game" is one of those films that you see and you talk about for days after you first see it. A genuine shocker at the time of its release, the film was huge in 1992 and earned a Best Picture nomination from the Academy. The film is a complicated puzzle which involves an IRA volunteer (Stephen Rea in his Oscar-nominated role) who is assigned to guard a British soldier (Forest Whitaker). An unlikely friendship develops and when Whitaker is killed, Rea goes to find his girlfriend who is not at all that she seems. There is no point in giving away her secret to those who have not yet seen this film. However, the twists and turns of "The Crying Game" are what make the film work. The movie is flawed in several areas, but overall it is a noble work that ranks real high on the list of other great films of the 1990s. 4.5 out of 5 stars.

That bolded sentence above got me to thinking, and I was able to put 2 & 2 together.

This chick has to be a dude!!!!!! <_<

Were you referring me as being "Rea" and Michelle as being Whitaker's girlfriend?

Uh...no.

I'll pass, as I've come to realize that you was pullin' a funny on me.

ALMOST got me on that one, Mikey...ALMOST ;)B)

But I don't know.

I mean, the reviews and description on it does make the movie sound worthwhile.

Desicions, decisions.........................
