Emaling Realtors

Recommended Posts

I was wondering if anyone has sent any emails, rather than a typed letter,

to Realtors.

This, of course, would be an email with a short presentation and offer

to take anything they can't sell themselves, or just happen can't take

because of a property lacking equity in order for them to

get paid.

I'd also offer referral fees to anything I signed up with (and sold) with a seller.

....mostly looking to generate some CA leads.

Just wanted to know any results.

I believe I'll send out my letter (in email form) regardless, just to see first-hand

what I'm able to accomplish.

Those free Showcase of Homes that has all listed homes for sale will

be my "phonebook" to get the needed emails.

I'll be sure to email those that are purty, have friendly faces, and/or looks

like they haven't closed a sale in 13 months. :ninja:

I'm thinking a postcard or letter sent via snail-mail would have more

of an effect, and also kept around longer as opposed to the email version.

However, I can send 100's of emails (if I choose) for free and MUCH quicker.

What do you guys/gals think?

Like you said it doesn't take long to send out tons of emails, so it's worth testing for yourself in your market.

I've done this several times over the last 2 years or so. I'm not sure how many I've sent, probably somewhere around 300-400. I've made offers on specific properties as well as referrals for anything they come across.

This resulted in: 0 deals and 0 appointments.

Thanks for the feedback, Doug.

I'll go ahead and give it a shot, as soon as I get my Microsoft Word program up & running again.

I have a letter I've tweaked specifically for finding CAs through Realtors.

My market is a buyers' market, so maybe it'll result in something more favorable.

Later.

Jason, you'd be remiss not to try. You've got very little to lose, (some time, perhaps?), and the potential to hit on a deal that you otherwise would not have found. Go for it.

Ok, I just hit the send button to 14 Realtors.

I could have easily sent to a larger #, but who knows, it could very

well be possible that I'll get snowed in with leads. (lets hope  )

I'm just more or less testing in this phase.

I've composed an email, specifying what I'm looking for

and what I'm willing to do. If anyone is interested in it, I'll

be glad to share.

(thanks for the feedback Michael)

I'm interested in what will happen within the next few days/weeks.

I'll keep everyone posted on my progress.

Til then........................

Fourteen is not going to be anywhere near enough to get an accurate read on the effectiveness of this. I suggest you send more, many more, to be able to pass any kind of judgement on this.

Nothing so far.

Me thinks I would've gotten a better response had I not

sent a "salesy, brochure-type" email...as opposed to a simple one

stating that I wanted "hard to sell houses" and "houses with little to no

equity".

Another words, houses in which Realtors couldn't make any $$ with.

I'm still working on it though.

I'm going to send out that "simpler" email to a group of other Realtors.

I'll be back....

That, and more of them, too.

Agreed.

Something tells me they're busy as it is.

...no need to sit there and read through a brochure, when

a few sentences will do just as good.

We'll see though.

I'll get my mad-scientist hat on and get to experimentin'.

oooh ooh ooh can I see:))

Yep. :)
