You would have gone nowhere fast if you continued working on this via the telephone. And legal action would have resulted in an expense for you and several months of wrangling until the issue would have been resolved. (Although if the face-to-face meeting didn't produce results you would have had no choice).Good luck with the closing on Friday. BTW, any details on the deal you care to share?
