rwcinvestments 2 Report post Posted January 17, 2013 Yep... Still very amazing! Of the 200+ emails I sent out last-night/this morning, I've had over 150 replys!! Some of them are quite funny, I had two people reply by cussing me out which was hilarious, but some of them, the people tell you their entire life story, why their selling, where their moving, their health problems, I even had a lady tell me she's moving because of the FIRE ANTS! OMG REALLY?! HAHA.. Again, this is AWESOME! Thanks for the tip! Now if only I can find a way to make all these calls back........ and not sound like a girl locked in a basement in the phillipiens... baron14 1 Report post Posted January 22, 2013 Hi All.. I was wondering is anyone having any success in getting some deals closed using this email approachof asking some general questions to the seller? For the ones having success and making deals, have do you get the seller to cooperate and say "YES" to a CA or SLO?? I tried this email approach with about 20 emails and received 3 responses: a.) One said this is a scamb.) one would not answer any questions but wants me to come look at the property firstc.) one said they may consider a rent to own but wants me to visit with them and their attorney for approval and they want a 1 yr max term and only an interested buyer and not a third party. Thanks, baron
MichaelC 160 Report post Posted January 22, 2013 20 emails is way too small a sample to come to any conclusions about the effectiveness of your marketing. That should be a daily minimum. As for the replies you've received so far, one is a loon; the second is hoping you fall in love with his house when you see it and make a full price all cash offer, and the third is letting you know early on that he is a pain in the ass and you should move on.
