As far as Phenix City, it is a good piece down the road (approx. 3-4 hours away). I did find some things that may help (if not too late). Phenix City newspaper info Phenix City Online Real Estate ads Columbus, Georgia newspaper You also might want to check out the Auburn, Alabama & Columbus, Georgia areas as well...seeingthat there are good/nice areas and not too far away from Phenix City.
