ogbuff 0 Report post Posted March 12, 2009 Yeah that one was good, real good. There should be a fine for these types of guys that waste the FBI's time with stupid complaints that have no merit. Related to this in a sense is that our society has become so litigious, it's ridiculous.
Doug Pretorius (ON) 9 Report post Posted March 12, 2009 What exactly does the email you're sending out say? I've had the odd testy reply but nothing like this!
joshril 0 Report post Posted March 12, 2009 What exactly does the email you're sending out say? I've had the odd testy reply but nothing like this! Thank you for the quick reply. Your house sounds like it may be just what we are looking for. Please let me explain: My company specializes in Lease Purchasing. This technique has proven to be quite advantageous for homeowners. Done correctly, you can receive an above market price for your home in less time than it would take you to sell it traditionally. We are not Realtors and charge no commissions of any kind. In fact, our service to you is free! We'll even arrange to have the tenant/buyers pay all closing costs, too! The bottom line is that you will net many thousands of dollars more when you sell your property using the Lease Purchase Advantage. Presently, and as is often the case, we have more tenant/buyers than we do properties to offer them. Your property seems to fit our needs quite well. I have attached a flyer with some additional information to further explain about the Lease Purchase Advantage. Please feel free to contact me with your questions. Or please pass along your contact information to me, along with a good time to call and I will contact you. Thank you for your interest. It's the second email that MC had pointed out the other day with the LPA attached.
MichaelC 160 Report post Posted March 12, 2009 It has nothing to do with the contents of the email. It's just some crotchety old fool with too much time and too little smarts.
Jason (AL) 1 Report post Posted March 12, 2009 I've sent out my variation of the same email and have yet to receive anysort of reply like that. Of course, I've noticed there has been a longer reply time fromthe 2nd email I send out vs. the initial contact. I'd imagine it's either weeding out the non-motivatedor they're thinking my proposal over. Either way, all's good in the Heart of Dixie!
