For those wanting a secure PDF free

Recommended Posts

I found this free program that allows you to secure a PDF where it cannot be printed, right clicked/copied, and can be set up with a password.

Information

Download Page

The way I went about using it was to unzip the downloaded file and copy the bin directory to your C drive. Then place the PDF you wish to secure in the bin directory.

Then go to the Start button, then go to Run, or in Vista / Windows 7 type in cmd. Then type CD\ and then CD\bin

Then enter the command shown on the above website:

pdftk mydoc.pdf output mydoc.128.pdf owner_pw foo user_pw baz

mydoc being the name of your pdf; mydoc.128 being the new PDF name; foo being the owner password and baz being the user password

Just change to whatever you wish.

Hope this helps everyone.

Erik
