Tax question referring to a lap top purchase

Recommended Posts

From a business tax write off is it best to lease or buy a Lap top?

Since you get a business tax deduction either way for the entire cost, lease or buy is a business decision. Which makes more sense, or, which costs more in the long run -- lease or buy?

Lease with the Option to buy. hehe Sorry, I couldn't resist.

Steve:

Does that include a 50% rent credit too?

Possibly, may even be able to give you a 75% credit. How much option consideration can you put down?

I would rather have a no money down with the option to buy with 100% rent credit and 100% tax deduction and deferred payments until it was paid off..,

does that even make sense?

Are 5-Finger Discounts deductable?

And they're deferred until the following tax year, yes?

Only if FEMA is involved.

I wonder if FEMA needs any part time employees. I am willing to work from noon to 1:00pm every day provided I get an hour off for lunch. Do you suppose they will give me $100K salary?

No problem, Dave. You can also request an unlisted office number so those pesky hurricane victims can't bother you all day long.
