GetMoneyGetPaid 0 Report post Posted March 4, 2013 So im going on one of these all out marketing campaigns everyone keeps talking about to get sellers, what im wondering is if i market myself as a business do i have to have an LLC to do so?
MichaelC 160 Report post Posted March 5, 2013 No, you do not need to have an LLC. The LLC is an instrument to separate your personal liablilty from your business activities, but it is not a requirement.
ErikOk 10 Report post Posted March 5, 2013 You can do a DBA which is a sole proprietorship. LLC costs $100 here with an annual renewal of $25. I would opt for the LLC, because like MC mentioned it provides the liability protection. Your choice though.

lhenley 8 Report post Posted March 5, 2013 One advantage (or not) to having a LLC is that you can get business loans and/or company credit cards, and it won't affect your personal credit rating (or it's not supposed to). Lynn (FL)
