Could you manage the property?

Recommended Posts

My brothers neighbor is moving out of state. He mentions to her what i do. I talk with her briefly and she's not sure she wants to sell at this time. Not sure how if she will like Geogia from California. Hmmmmmm.

She asked if i could manage it for her? So would and could you manage a property like such? I'd like to get her to commit to a lease option so to get the property on the books. Or any suggestions? Looking to meet with her tomorrow.

Thanks Again

Legally, you can not manage that property unless you are a licensed Realtor. That said, the Real Estate Police aren't looking for you. I mean, one individual managing one property isn't going to put you on their radar. Weigh the pros and cons, Mike.

As for getting her to lease option the property, all you can do is ask and present your ideas. But it sounds as if she wants a safety net in place in case Georgia doesn't push her buttons.

I've read somewhere that one thing you can do is tell them you'll manage it for free (or a very low amount), if they'll give you an option and first-right-of-refusal when they do get ready to sell. Naturally, get it in writing.
