If these are such great deals (since you're advertising them on Matt Bowman's site) why doesn't he buy them from you? :wacko:

 

Hummm, doesn't make sense, such I understand that he has gobs of money from his mentoring and all the hundreds of deals that he's recently done in Calgary, AB!

 

I see that you have advertised these properties on at least 10 other real estate investor real estate discussion boards too (does Russ Whitney sound familiar -- you've posted quite a few there too)!

 

I can only assume that no body on any of these sites finds these deals to be attractive either!

The last time I checked, this WAS a real estate tool for ALL to use.....is it not.....? The homes I sell ARE great deals. Take a look at the #'s. Numbers ARE FACTS and they speak for themselves. As far as Matt Boman goes.....well, it's funny that you ask. He is another real estate investor that DOES buy. He's been investing on a constant basis now for 9 years and counting. I asked for his permission if I could post on his Real Estate Forum, and he said sure. The bottom line is, if you don't think they are good deals, then stay away from them. Invest in someone else's. But, don't put them down just because YOU think they aren't great deals. Different stokes for different folks, right?!?! :wacko:

YES this is a forum for all as a tool to use. However, I asked this question, because this is only the 3rd post you've made here and I just recently saw ALL of these properties advertised elsewhere.

 

However, there is one little fact you've got wrong. Matt DOES NOT BUY property. He does Rent to Owns / Lease Options Mentoring / Partnering (all without using his money) and other "creative means of acquiring wealth! Don't ask me, but I do know this for a fact. That's why I asked why isn't he buying your stuff! (I know why for obvious reasons)!

 

Also you seemed to all of a sudden come from out of no-where! Inquiring minds ya know!

 

Just call me a little over-protective will ya!

I know that this is only my 3rd post but, you gotta start somewhere, right? :huh:

I also invite ANYONE who is just starting out in this biz or someone who just has some questions to call me whenever. My line is always opened.....especially to those who are new to this game. Many people try to invest but many also fail. And it seems that the ones who tried & failed, are the very same ones that "bad mouth" real estate as a whole.

 

Off subject: You probably know Matt B. better than I but, I can tell you that I have talked with him over the phone and via emails almost everyday. I have also met him in person when I invited him down to our local REIA meeting last month (www.swflreia.com). I do know that he is buying here in Florida. Not too sure about Canada though.

 

He lives in Florida now.....the same city I live in so, we get to see more of each other now and talk business a lot. Being over protective is a GOOD THING! :o That is probably a thing that comes natural to you.....I sometimes wish I had that.

 

Auctioning off my properties wouldn't work for the goals that I am trying to reach. I ASSIGN every deal I do. Meaning, I get a property under contract for 'X' amount, then I market that same property with an assignment fee attached to it. Here's a real-life example:

We are asking $294,000 BUT ~ we are also asking for a $9,000 ASSIGNMENT FEE FIRST. All of our assignment fee's MUST be paid in full. We are basically selling our right to the contract.

 

Most people look at this the wrong way. They think we're asking for the assignment fee ($9K) PLUS the $294K. NOT TRUE.

 

Let's say you, or someone you knew, wanted this deal. You (or they) would pay the $9K upfront, then get financing for the $285K

 

$294K - $9K = $285K

 

Unless this guy on here that does Auctions is willing to pay our assignment fee....I'm going to stick with my game plan. By the way, our assignment fees vary in price range.
