I see.

But, normally aren't you doing a 5-Day auction?

Got more properties that I am auctioning off.....by the way I own these homes already..

AUCTION TIME

Hi Jonathan:

I have looked at your AUCTION site, great inventory. Does your site handle the auction prices received or do you update that manually? Am I not seeing something? I really don't see any mention of homes being auctioned but do see a listed price.

Interested in your answer.

Craig

Craig reason is that I am selling them fast. All I have to do is put a FSBO sign out and BAM its gone. Just to add, AUCTION is not the answer to every sale. I am getting inventory because I am buying a little different on some occasions.

Hi Jonathan,

Houses are not moving so quickly here. I do all the usual stuff and finding someone who has any $$ is always fun. I am familiar with the 5, 10 and 15 day auction programs. Although I wasn't happy with my results when I offered the "sell to highest bidder sunday night" plan - I had to have a reserve and it didn't hit it. How do you promote your auctions if you don't mind me asking?

Amy,

I am assuming you are looking for a retail buyer instead of a Lease Option or Land Contract buyer.

Once the property is ready. It goes on the website, We do a one mile radius mailing campaign around the home announcing the property is for sale, Flyers in similar fashion. The mail is done twice. Ads in the paper for the full term of the auction towards the day of the showings. In the mean time they bid online during the week. We put signs out about the home with the 800#. 3 days before the open house we place AUCTION directional arrow signs to bring them into the property. If the property is vacant we stage the windows about each room so they know the sizes and so forth.

The auction process takes alot of effort for retail. Lease Option buyers are much easier where we just get the down payment.
