Full Version: In A Ca, Do We Show Owner, The Tb's Credit Report?

I'm getting ahead of myself here, but when you have a CA and a TB is lined up, do you show the owner the TB's credit/background checks (one of the benefits of a CA is everything is done with the owner's approval; they can even meet the TB's)? If no, what do you say if they ask?

Is it illegal to show the information to the owner being the release was signed to me, and not them?

Yes, it is. And no, it's not necessary. There's enough benefits to a CA than to have to go around showing other people's credit reporta. BBUUUTTT, the "tenant/buyer" can show the seller their own report. All you have to do is mention it to both parties.

Adam
PS You're not getting ahead of yourself. You're doing just fine. wink.gif

Well, we're going to need him even more now that Scott Neidermayer left to go play with his brother in Cali. Oh, they're going to be on the same hockey team too... laugh.gif
