Hey Guys
I this to much to get past? Son has been willed the home from grandma through the estate. Mom is executor of the estate and not wanting to release it to the son,who wants to sell it. Of course grandma is passed. Through the title co, he needs to have mom sign off the property to proceed. And the title co is demanding the mom go to there office to sign. Can the title co do that? And is there an alternate way to make this happen?

Thanks Again

Tell the son to get a lawyer, because this could get complicated. The mother may be the executor, but that only means she is in charge of carrying out what's in the will. It doesn't mean she gets to decide which directives to follow and when.

And until it gets straightened out, avoid it like the plague. Too much baggage. There are easier deals awaiting you.
