This was a deal where I
initially contacted the homeowner via email through an online advertisement
he had placed.
The house was a ten year old custom built beauty. He had tried using a
Realtor, as well as selling it himself. When I contacted him, he was ready
for something new, and I extolled the virtues of The Lease Purchase
Advantage.
We agreed to set up the deal as a Cooperative Assignment, and I would
receive a fifty percent split of any option money collected as my fee.
One ad, first person to look at the property, and we had our tenant buyer.
An attorney, no less, who was lease purchasing the house for his parents.
We collected $3000 option money, and I earned $1500 for a few hours work and
sharing my specialized knowledge.
