Marlene Isenhart 0 Report post Posted January 28, 2003 I got tagged with the "Kleze" virus last Friday. Thought I was protected but nooooooooo! Watch out for any e-mails that have a message line that includes "NT_mechanic..." and an attachment. You do not have to open the attachment to get the virus. This virus exploits the mime security hole in Outlook Express. I know, I know...should have down-loaded the security update. I was lulled into a false sense of security by the claim of my e-mail server who claimed they scanned ALL e-mail before it got to me. Besides, I had "Uncle Norton" protecting me. HA! If you haven't updated your Outlook Express already- you might want to do it in the very near future. Believe me------'da Klez ain't nothin' to sneeze at. Lessons learned......................[/i]
