Jason (AL) 1 Report post Posted July 31, 2004 Is there any way you could get this groovy site to accept bitmap -file avatars? I have so many cool and awesome avatars that are in bitmap file only. Just wondering. You don't have to, but I'm the only one that is experiencing this vast aray of awesome bitmap avatars in my computer. I promise that none of them will cause any seizures to be induced upon any members of the site. ...then again, the Superman av isn't so bad, eh? Thanks,Jason

Gary (MO) 0 Report post Posted September 9, 2004 Jason, can't you change the bitmap format to jpeg or gif in a program like PhotoShop and PaintPro?
MichaelC 160 Report post Posted September 23, 2004 Actually, there are a number of programs that will change bitmap format to jpg files.Reasoft.com comes to mind, as does flydragon. If you do a Google search for converting bmp files to jpg, there should be a wealth of info available. The board software is going to be updated in the next week or so, and the ability to attach bitmap files is still uncertain. But the above fix is a workable solution in the meantime.Just didn't want you to think I was ignoring you, Jason.
