moneynfast 0 Report post Posted August 5, 2004 I am curious what do you guys say. When you call up a credit agency to do a credit check on a tenant buyer. They always ask me if I own the home. Then I say no. Then they do not let me use there service. I found a loan office that will do my checks for me, but I just like to know what a newbie should say in order to get there service. moneynfast 0 Report post Posted August 6, 2004 Tony, are you saying that I should tell them I am a property manager? Michael
MichaelC 160 Report post Posted August 6, 2004 MichaelR, as long as you have a signed Lease Application which specifies that you will be pulling a credit report, you are covered. The company will ask to see a copy, (you can just fax it over), and you're good to go. Rates these days are about $10-$12 per report. And there are literally thousands of companies online to choose from.
