MichaelC 160 Report post Posted March 25, 2003 This is an additional form you could use to protect your interest and position in a deal. By completing it and recording this document, should a homeowner try and sell the property out from under you, you will have succeeded in "clouding the title" when the potential buyer ran a title search. For all intents and purposes, the deal dies there and your deal remains secure. It is an alternate to the Memorandum of Option. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
