ErikOk 10 Report post Posted September 28, 2011 I am wondering what you all have written on your business card. If you can show me what you have on the front and back of the card (either by placing the text in your forum response, or a picture if you want to upload) I would appreciate it. ThanksErik
MichaelC 160 Report post Posted September 28, 2011 Erik, your business card is not going to make a bit of difference with regards to you getting a deal. You're the difference maker. Your card will serve to be a reminder of how to contact you, nothing more. Keep it simple, keep it cheap.

Hi Michael & others, What would be some good simple ideas to put on the card besides my name and contact information? What wording should be put on the card explaining the services I would be providing? Would I describe myself as "Investor", or maybe "Difference Maker" ? Looking forward to the materials arriving tomorrow Erik

MichaelC 160 Report post Posted September 29, 2011 Erik, the I* word is poison. Avoid coming off like my good friend, Bernie Madoff. You'll be receiving my manual today. Included with it is my business card for The Naked Investor part of me. The card for the investor side of me is identical. Just replace The Naked Investor line with my company name, and the logo in the upper left is different. *Investor

speedingpenguin 19 Report post Posted September 29, 2011 I've got a few cards, one is my "pocket bandit sign" which is basically just that. Another one is my "agent" card, and then I've got a plain/generic card which I don't use very much any more...
<Steve> 82 Report post Posted September 30, 2011 For me the marketing material is a fun part of what we do. Tying cards, web site, letter head, signs, flyers etc. all together with a recognizable logo and a common color theme/design theme through out. And I like to do it myself. Take a look at what other businesses you like have done or look online from marketing companies and check out there examples. Below is a link from a marketing company, who I review their examples to get design ideas. Kind of cool stuff. SPINit
