HFP 0 Report post Posted December 26, 2012 As I'm reading throught the NI manual, I have a question regarding the assignments. Is the only difference between an assignment (strategy 2, pg.21) and a cooperative assignment (strategy 3, pg.24) the fact that the homeowner/seller will have a say in the approval/disapproval of the T/B in a CA? Thank you for your clarification!
MichaelC 160 Report post Posted December 26, 2012 Chad, there are a few differences between an assignment and a Cooperative Assignment. When working a CA, you and the homeowner are cooperating, working together without a middleman. They are, for the most part, nonadversarial.A straight assignment, on the other hand, pits you against the homeowner. You are attempting to negotiate the very best deal you can for yourself, so that you can quickly and profitably assign the deal to a third party.
