BEV! 0 Report post Posted February 25, 2009 This is serious and it happened to me last month. I'm sure a lot of you already know this, but have you really thought of the GOLDMINE Craigslist really is?Last month I put a friend's car for sale on CL and I made $500 in less than an hour!!I then put someone else's car for sale the same day on CL and made another $500 almost instantly.Later that day, I went to a friend's house and on my way there I saw over 30 cars for sale on people's garage. Admin, is there a way we can do CA's on cars also? (seriously), or do I have to have a realtor's lic? About 98% of the vehicles for sale on CL are from dealers and as soon as people see "BY OWNER", they're all over you in less than a minute of placing your ads.Vehicles are the hottest items selling in my area on CL I also bought a dozen of brand new iPhones, and sold them ALL on CL in 1 day making 50% profit.. wow(won't go into too much details on this as it is very confidential info) Craigslist ROCKS!! Jason (AL) 1 Report post Posted February 25, 2009 Good stuff, Bev! Are you listing it on CL for whatever your friends are asking, thenyou'll take whatever you can get over their asking price? I have a brother-in-law that's in the car business and have thought ofworking with him to market on CL and eBay.However, just be careful, as you'll be confused with acting as a dealerwithout the license. Also, I've been thinking of getting an iPhone here in the near future, but would be hesitant in buying one on CL.The ones I've seen have been "spammy" and seem fake.Good to hear you're moving them. As of right now, I've been rocking this: 8525It's like a mini laptop...love it!
Doug Pretorius (ON) 9 Report post Posted February 25, 2009 You most certainly can do CAs on cars. You can option ANYTHING and sell it (your option) without a license.
BEV! 0 Report post Posted February 25, 2009 ..Are you listing it on CL for whatever your friends are asking, thenyou'll take whatever you can get over their asking price? NO way! After my friends tell me how much they want for it, I quickly checked the Kelly Blue Book for prices. If I see there's room for me to get compensated for my priceless eMarketing technique, then I accept the deal. The entire deal is done at my house.. car owner and buyer do the deal between them two and owner pays me my share ..However, just be careful, as you'll be confused with acting as a dealer without the license. That's why I asked the Admin if there could be a way we can work this puppies like we do the real estate, where we don't need to be licensed to do a CA Also, I've been thinking of getting an iPhone here in the near future, but would be hesitant in buying one on CL.The ones I've seen have been "spammy" and seem fake. Good to hear you're moving them. When it comes to online marketing, I either stand out from the crowd or don't market at all which is why I have very good results with everything I market online. Awesome toy you found there Jason! BEV!

Any type of paperwork you're using?
BEV! 0 Report post Posted February 26, 2009 Any type of paperwork you're using? Not yet as I've only done 2 cars for friends. But that's why I'm posting here to see if we can come up with some type of paperwork.I like what Doug said, and now that I know that, I can probably look into it asap! I see so many cars for sale daily here in my hood and on parking lots that aren't selling. So why not help them sell it and get paid for it? Doug, talk to me, baby! BEV! MichaelC 160 Report post Posted February 26, 2009 Doug, when doing a CA on a Lady of the Evening, how does one determine value? Is there an equivalent of a Kelly's Blue Book available for a novice such as myself?

BEV! 0 Report post Posted April 11, 2009 And just where are the high class good looking guys on this forum at? There's just gotta be at least one..plz BTW, going back to my topic, this past Thursday, I went to the bart station to pick up my son which is quite a drive, but being the smart gal that I am, I decided to make money while driving so far... heck, why not? I placed an ad on CL 2 days before and offer to share ride (in my car) with 2 people going to the bart station on Thursday and for 2 other people coming from the bart station to my town on that same day.. keep in mind that a cab would have cost each of them over $150 to get to their destination to and from the bart.Long story short, I chose 2 ladies from CL who replied to my ads to go to bart and 2 other ladies coming from the bart.I made $240 that day in only 2 hrs drive round trip and got to pick up the love of my life at the station (my son) BEV!
